The Children’s Librarians of New Hampshire are very excited to announce Heather Lindsay from the Mary E. Bartlett Library in Brentwood, NH as the 2019 Children’s Librarian of the Year! The CLNH Board was impressed with her commitment to her town, her programming, collection development, and ties to the community. One reference noted her ability to completely rework the library’s website and add a popular Anime Club for middle grade patrons, along with revamping the collection and reaching out to several organizations for a town-wide calendar, programs, and more. Impressively enough she did this all in the span of less than a year!
Heather’s Community is very lucky to have her and New Hampshire is lucky to have her as the Children’s Librarian of the Year. For more information about the Children’s Librarian of the Year Award please visit the nhlibrarians.org website and check out the CLNH Tab.
